Road Trip!

We're off to Ohio (O-H! ☺️) The first EVER out of state competition for the Marching Millers! We have an amazing team of parents assembled to support our band and this is going to be a memorable experience for parents, students and directors! Parents, we are in midst of competition season and rehearsals are going to be intense... encourage your child and remind them "Don't miss out on something that could be GREAT... Just because it could also be difficult". The reward has potential to be EPIC! #LifeLesson #HardWork #DrinkWater

Frequently asked food questions this week:

  • Can my student pack their own snacks? YES!! Please help your student pack things they like and enjoy eating! It is a long day!

  • Do they need to wait until arrival to eat their breakfast bag? NOPE! They will grab their bags before getting on the bus and can eat right away or hold off as they prefer.

  • Do the boosters provide any snacks or a meal during the day? YES! See the schedule above for what the boosters are providing.

  • Will the students have access to water? YES! We are taking the big orange jugs and squeeze bottles. Bottled water will also be available with dinner. Your student should bring their usual hydration with them to make sure they are well-hydrated during the day.

Chaperones: Due to BOA rules, we were given a very limited number of credentials. All bus chaperones are also doubling as prop helpers.... therefore our bus chaperone sign ups were all filled by Prop helpers! Stay tuned for open chaperone sign ups for our Center Grove Contest on Oct 8th!
