Noblesville High School Band students are eligible to earn awards for participation in the following groups:

Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Winter Percussion, Winter Guard & Pep Band.

Letterman's Jackets - Are ordered from The Band Shop once a year during the fall.

About Chevron Patches

Successful completion of year 1 in any of the 6 performance groups (Concert, Jazz, Marching, NIPE, Winter Guard or Pep)

Placement

Performance group chevrons are located on the right sleeve under the Band Department Shield. These may go in any order.

About Special Patches & Rockers

Special patches are awarded for achievement at momentous events like ISSMA State Finals and BOA Super Regionals. Rocker patches accompany special patches to showcase year and/or placement in contests.

Placement

Additional patches are to be located under the graduation year number patches. These may go in any order. Rockers typically go around or next to corresponding special patches.
