Noblesville High School Band students are eligible to earn awards for participation in the following groups:

Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Winter Percussion, Winter Guard & Pep Band.

Letterman's Jackets - Are ordered all year long and available through Reed Awards website or Cicero storefront.

About Chevron Patches

Successful completion of year 1 in any of the 6 performance groups (Concert, Jazz, Marching, NIPE, Winter Guard or Pep)

Placement

Performance group chevrons are located on the right sleeve under the Band Department Shield. These may go in any order.

About Special Patches & Rockers

Special patches are awarded for achievement at momentous events like ISSMA State Finals and BOA Super Regionals.

ISSMA patches are only for state qualifiers, and can only be purchased by the band directors from ISSMA. They are ordered in group orders once or twice a year.

Special patches are often purchased by individuals in-person at these events. In some cases (super momentous occasions), the Noblesville Band Boosters may cover the cost of these special patches and no replacements for lost or damaged patches will be fulfilled.

Rocker patches accompany special patches to showcase year and/or placement in contests.

Placement

Additional patches are to be located under the graduation year number patches or on the back under the Noblesville back patch. These may go in any order. Rockers typically go around or under corresponding special patches.
