THE RHYTHM IS GONNA GET YA’
K-8th Grade PERCUSSION and Rhythm CLINIC
Hands on introduction to the world of percussion and - RHYTHM! Students will receive drumsticks, t-shirt, dinner, admission to the HS Basketball game, a wealth of knowledge and have fun! Students will PERFORM at halftime of the NHS Boys Varsity Basketball game that night!
The NHS Percussion Clinic is back!!!
Students will learn basic percussion technique, and so much more from our 2024 Indoor Winter Percussion Ensemble members, staff, and instructors. Students will be divided into grade levels. They will learn about different percussion instruments, begin to develop a sense of time, learn introductory drum skills while preparing a musical selection to be performed at half time of the NHS basketball game that night (not required).

*New This Year Advance Track for experienced middle school percussion!
When: Saturday, January 13, 2024
Check-In: Begins at 4:00pm NHS Band Room
Time: 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Performance approximately 8:00pm - Varsity halftime
*Students are to be picked up after halftime of the varsity basketball game. Driver’s license may be required for pick-up

Includes shirt, sticks, meal and 4 hours of supervision = a DEAL!
