Up, Up and Away!!!!

Updated: Oct 25, 2023

Well that escalated quickly! Congratulations to all Marching Millers (students, directors, parents, family members, community supporters) for all your hard work and dedication to this amazing program.

It is hard to fathom that this weekend is truly the end of the 2023 marching season. Take in every moment of this week with your student. Come out and enjoy food trucks and frivolity at Community Night! Put on your White Crow attire and cheer on the Marching Millers at Lucas Oil Stadium! Celebrate the season at the Marching Banquet in November!

Can I buy tickets ahead of time?

Yes.

Can I bring cash?

Lucas Oil is cashless. This includes the box office and concessions. Please plan accordingly to ensure a successful day.

What is the bag policy?

  • Bag policies are effective to expedite entry into venues and provide additional safety.

  • Spectators will be allowed to bring items such as cameras, provided they are not in cases that would violate the bag policy at that venue.

What are my parking options?

  • A limited amount of spectator parking is available in Lot A North of the Stadium and the South Lot of Lucas Oil Stadium.

  • Accessible parking spaces are in the South lot of the Stadium via the Missouri Street Gate 3 parking lot entrance. The cost for this lot is $20.00 per vehicle with NO in/out privileges. Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • A drop-off/pick-up location is available along Capitol Ave. outside of the Colts Team Store.

  • Additional spaces surround the stadium in various lots and parking garages. A map of parking and prices for area lots is available online at http://www.indydt.com/parking.com •

  • Plan to arrive early to allow plenty of time to park, buy tickets and enter the Stadium. Encourage parents, boosters and fans to do the same. Lucas Oil Stadium is a large, urban-based professional facility.

Can I take videos/pictures?

Still cameras (digital or film, professional or otherwise) are allowed in the stadium and may be used from stadium seating, but not on the field. Remember – and please share with your fellow parents and boosters that video recording of performances is not allowed.

Can we have a Noblesville block?

DO NOT BLOCK LARGE SECTIONS OF SEATS for your school. Coats, and other personal items, left in seats for an extended period WILL BE CONFISCATED BY SECURITY. It is extremely important to plan and arrive early.

Is there a livestream?

You can purchase a live stream only (no recording) for $29. Use this link: https://livestream.box5tv.com/signup/k3Mfesoko?order-data=xMvtQOhRYPry

PLEASE READ!!!!! ACCESS TO SEATING AREAS WILL BE CLOSED DURING THE LAST TWO BANDS OF EACH CLASS, UNTIL AFTER AWARDS. I SUGGEST BEING SEATED BY 9:45 AT THE LATEST (Use the restroom and buy your snacks...you will NOT be allowed back in!!!!!).

Friendly Reminder: Please be sure you are representing the best of the NHS Band Program each time you attend a competition. Performance etiquette asks that audience members stay quiet (except for cheering) during other groups' performances, remain seated during all performances and stay positive when commenting on shows! Every performance is FULL of amazing moments! Each band program has worked just as hard as our Marching Millers. The band community is a very supportive community...let's keep spreading joy and appreciation for all.

Awards and Patches

Many people have been asking about patches and awards. All of the information about how/when a student earns awards is on the band website awards page. At the bottom of the awards page are two helpful links: buy a lost patch/pin and inquire about a patch that was never received. Kristen Durst or Sarah Scholl will reach out regarding any ordered or overlooked awards.

$$$ Marching Band Fee Information From Your Friendly Neighborhood Band Treasurer

Marching Band fees are NOW OVERDUE!!!

A list of families whose invoice is carrying a balance past October 1st will be sent over to our Accounts Receivable department for collection purposes. Trust me, if you’re not a fan of email notices or certified letters, you do not want to be on this list!

PLEASE NOTE: Students traveling to Ireland will not be eligible for financial assistance from the boosters for the 2023-2024 school year.
