We want to send a special shout out to our seniors and their families. Their contributions are part of the foundation we will continue to build from in years to come. SECOND SEMESTER GROUPS IN ACTION
It is always busy in the band department, but I am not sure there is a season with more groups rehearsing and competing than in the second semester. The band department was buzzing all semester as these groups practiced and performed amazing things!
CONCERT BAND HIGHLIGHTS
Our concert bands had an eventful second semester! Wind Ensemble kicked it off with the incredible honor of being the 2025 performing ensemble at the 2025 Indiana Music Education Association Professional Development Conference. They had an incredible performance that set the tone for a memorable semester!
Band students from all five band classes competed at the ISSMA Solo & Ensemble festival in February. 139 gold ratings and 64 silver ratings later, the band program had 69 solos and ensembles qualify for state! These committed students worked hard to earn 8 gold with distinction honors, 28 gold ratings, and 4 silver ratings at the state contest. Way to go students!
Concert bands capped the tremendously successful ISSMA season with
ISSMA concert band competitions. The bands performed exceptionally well and received the following recognitions:
• Block 1: Symphonic Band Gold -ISSMA Gold Rating
• Block 3: Symphonic Band Black -ISSMA Gold Rating
*Gold in Sight Reading
• Block 4: Symphony Band - ISSMA Gold Rating
• Block 6: Wind Symphony - ISSMA Gold Rating
*Gold in Sight Reading
• Block 2: Wind Ensemble - ISSMA Gold Rating With Distinction
*Gold in Sight Reading
Wind Ensemble had an impressive performance and qualified as one of only 16 bands in the entire state for ISSMA state finals. What an amazing season!
INDOOR PERCUSSION HIGHLIGHTS
The 2025 season marked an incredible milestone for the Noblesville Indoor Percussion Ensemble (NIPE) as they completed their first full season in Indiana Percussion Association (IPA) Open Class. The ensemble rose to the challenge with determination, unity, and a powerful production that showcased both technical excellence and emotional depth.
Their season culminated in a standout performance at the IPA State Finals, where they earned the runner-up position score of 88.913. On the national stage, NIPE represented Noblesville with pride at the WGI World Championships, advancing to the Scholastic Open Class semifinals. With a score of 86.838, they secured a top 25 placement out of more than 150 ensembles from across the country. The foundation built in 2025 promises even greater things ahead for NIPE.
JAZZ BAND HIGHLIGHTS
Jazz kicked the season off with a once in a lifetime kind of honor. Jazz 1 was invited to open for Jazz at Lincoln Center at The Palladium in Carmel. This was a magical evening of jazz for all who attended! Jazz groups went on to have a highly successful season, including multiple ensemble and solo awards at Butler Jazz Fest, Purdue Jazz Fest, Pendleton Jazz Fest, and Ball State Jazz Fest. We can't wait o see what this incredible program does next!
PEP BAND HIGHLIGHTS
Pep band has all the fun! Pep Band played at many home basketball games for our Lady Millers and Boys' basketball teams, and they were FANTASTIC!
WINTER GUARD HIGHLIGHTS
What an unforgettable season for our Noblesville Winter Guard! With their powerful show "XII" this dedicated group went undefeated in state and national competitions culminating in a BRONZE medal in Open Class WORLD Finals!

At the conclusion of a magical season, our Noblesville Winter Guard was officially promoted to a WORLD CLASS guard! This amazing program is one to watch next year!
COMING UP - MARCHING BAND!!!!!!!
It's not too late to join our amazing marching band program this year! I am on year eight as a marching band parent, and I don't think there is anything I can point to that has helped my kids become the resourceful, responsible kids that they are more than marching band.
