Indiana Jazz State Finals
Jazz 1 had an incredible performance at ISSMA Jazz State Finals Friday night at Pike High School. While placings arenât given at this festival, 8 awards for sections and individual performers are given to the best 9 Jazz Bands in the state. NHS Jazz 1 received 3 out of the 8 awards: Best Rhythm Section, Best Trumpet Soloist- Levi Rozek, and Best Trombone Soloist- Luke Nelson.

Road to Ellington
The Noblesville High School Jazz Program and its participants are still raising money for the Essentially Ellington Festival & Contest in New York City, May 4th-May 8th. Donors can visit NoblesvilleBand.org/Ellington or scan the QR code to support our NHS Musicians! Jazz 1 will be competing on Friday, May 6th between 2pm and 6pm.

The NIPE gladiators have won battles, but now it is time to go win the WAR!!!! After a little R&R in New York City, these warriors will continue perfecting maneuvers and firm up strategy to overtake their opponents. Last week the point differential between 1st and 3rd place was .512. Yes, you read that decimal point right!!!!
