Shout-out to all the parent volunteers that have helped our band get ready to hit the road this season! The hallway decorations are next level; be sure and check them out when you come to volunteer. The sectional lunches and treat bags really kept the band moving during camp...way to go section parents! The Prop Union is hard at work creating street sign magic. The uniform crew has been hustling to fit everyone for pictures this week. The practice volunteers have really "weathered" their shifts. The raffle committee is UNSTOPPABLE!!!! Way to go team!
Check out the quick info section and upcoming dates for highlights. We have had some calendar updates with the new school year. The calendar on the website has the latest changes! DISCLAIMER: Mr. Thornbury's e-mails always have the most recent information.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

Mass Band Night - September 13th
Mass Band Night is BACK! The Marching Millers will have a band-tastic night playing the pregame show with the 7th and 8th grade band students of both West and East Middle Schools! It is a fun night and a fantastic way to showcase our marching band while recruiting some future Marching Millers! The middle school students will come over after school to rehearse with the band, enjoy band popsicles, eat a meal with their middle school/high school sections, and learn more about being a Marching Miller. We will once again feed ALL of the bands, and we could really use your help making this happen! Watch for a sign up genius to earn volunteer hours helping at the meal or providing fruit or pasta salads. We also have some donation requests we would appreciate your help with if you are able. See below for our donation list. Thanks for your help!
MASS BAND NIGHT DONATION NEEDS:
Boxes of individually packaged Little Debbie or Hostess snack cakes
Sturdy disposable paper dinner plates
12 ounce plastic cups
**Leave donations in the bin marked "Mass Band Night Donations" in the uniform closet.
Senior Night - October 4th
Senior Night: Mark your calendar now for Marching Band Senior Night at the October 4th football game. Students will walk with their families or chosen adults during the pre-game ceremony. Pictures will be taken! More details coming closer to the date.
Food and Football Games
The food committee is looking forward to another fun season of fueling up the band! We feed the band before each home football game the band performs at and on the day of the Black and Gold Invitational. Look for a menu the week of each home game posted here in the newsletter or on the band app!
Does your student have food allergies? We are happy to do our best to accommodate that! If your student has allergies or other dietary needs, please email: foodcoordinator@noblesvilleband.org by August 10th. Thanks!
