Start your engines and get ready to hit the streets or Country Roads! 2024 is officially underway! Students and parents have done a fantastic job being flexible this week with all the construction. Thank you for your patience as we work together to make it work!


Use these newsletters (and our informative website) to keep up-to-date on dates, deadlines and general information. DISCLAIMER: Mr. Thornbury's e-mails always have the most recent information.


Thanks to all the parents that were able to come to the parent social last evening! It was fun to see so many new faces and visit with returning families. Special thanks to Carrie Young for organizing the event and Kelly and Gene Murray for the delicious food!


Marching Band Quick Info

  • Rehearsals continue next week! Please see full calendar on our website.

  • Summer Uniforms came home Thursday. Students will need these for the July 4th parades AND Back to School Bash.

  • Fees - $300 deposit is PAST DUE! See update/info below from our treasurer.

  • All forms are now overdue! These include medical, concussion protocol and marching contract. Please bring these to rehearsal Monday July 1st or E-mail Band Booster president with questions.

  • Social Media - Join our FB parent group! Ask your section parent for information on joining the BAND App!

  • Volunteer - Check out our volunteer page with Sign Up Genius Links. Be sure to check back often to discover how you can meet the volunteer hours requirement.

  • Level 3 Background Check - Volunteer badges (blue & orange for 2024) were distributed at parent social night. If you recently applied and were approved, please forward the approval email with badge to volunteers@noblesvilleband.org Apply for background check on our volunteer page! Didn't pick your badge up? Please find the bin marked "parent badges" in the hallway with the volunteer supplies and take your badge.

PAY SCHEDULE:

$300 Deposit -- DUE June 15th, 2024. This is now PAST DUE

$250 Fee -- DUE July 1st, 2024

$250 Fee -- DUE Aug 1st, 2024

$200 Fee -- DUE Sept. 1st, 2024


PAYMENT OPTIONS:

1. ACH payment directly through Quickbooks. Follow instruction on invoice. 

2. Cash or Check made out to Noblesville Band Boosters. Put payment in envelope with student name & turn it in to Mr. Thornbury or Mr. Crossley. 

3. Venmo @NoblesvilleBandBoosters. Please enter the student name in the memo area. (Verification # is 3018 if needed.)

4. Credit Card -- Option available by request. A 4% transaction fee will be added to the invoice balance. Email treasurer@noblesvilleband.org to request this.

5. Student Fundraiser Funds -- Email treasurer@noblesvilleband.org to check on available balance for your student. 


Financial Assistance can be requested by emailing treasurer@noblesvilleband.org.

Note that all past season fees need to be settled to request assistance in the current season.

Section Parent Information

One of the fastest ways to get a question answered is to reach out to your section parent. They can assist with forms, general information, Band App sign-ups....you name it, they will find it! Find a table of all the section parents and their contact info at the end of the newsletter. Are you signed up for your section group Band App? This is the best place to start with questions! Need to sign up for your section's Band App? Find your section parent on the list at the end of the newsletter and send them an email or text! They will be happy to help you!

50/50 Raffle Information

It is that time of year again, Band Family! Our biggest fundraiser has kicked off: the 50/50 Raffle! You can buy your chance to win half the pot and do your part to help the band and guard. Check out the SignUp Genius on the website. There will be many opportunities to get your volunteer hours, including during the parade, where you can still cheer on our Marching Millers while also helping sell raffle tickets. Ticket check out and online sales are now LIVE! Watch band app for more info about how to check out tickets and volunteer with this fun group!


 

Food News

Meals are provided for the students on all home football game days that the band stays to play and a few special event days as needed. One of those special event days is coming up next week! Lunch will be provided for the students when they return to the high school following the Carmel July 4th parade. Menu below! We follow the Noblesville Schools Food Policy, and we are happy to provide an alternative for students that have a medical dietary restriction anytime! Does your student have a food allergy? Please email Jen Melton at foodcordinator@noblesvilleband.org by Tuesday, July 2nd so we can make sure to have something safe for your student to eat. Marchers are always welcome to pack a different or additional option for meals! THANK YOU to all the parents that signed up to bring fruit on the 4th! Look for an email next week with instructions on where to deliver the fruit.
