Kick off to Marching Band 2023!

While we are nearing the end of another school year, the directors and boosters are VERY BUSY getting ready to kick off our 23-24 marching season!

Feeling a little lost and confused? Don't panic...this is normal! We will cover ALL of the information you need to know (and then some) at our Mandatory Parent meeting!

  • Mandatory Parent Meeting - Tuesday May 30th 6:30pm NHS Cafeteria. ALL parents/guardians of 2023 Marching Millers! Lots of new info for 2023!

  • End of Season Celebration & Season Kick off Party - Friday June 2nd Teter Retreat (Details below)

  • Pay $300 Deposit - Due June 10th (Details from treasurer below)

  • Parent Social Tailgate Night - June 29th - NHS Stadium

  • Social Media - Join our FB parent group! We will create an additional communication group at our parent meeting!

  • Volunteer - Check out our Volunteer page with Sign Up Genius Links AND HELP WANTED section! Over the next few weeks, we will be posting call outs for committee chairs, coordinators, committee members, section parents, etc..... AND Sign Up Genius links to help with upcoming rehearsals.


 

$$$ Marching Band Fee Information From Your Friendly Neighborhood Band Treasurer


The 2023 Marching Band season is upon us! The success of our program heavily relies on each family to fulfill their financial obligations. As stated on the “commitment to excellence” information sheet, students are responsible for fundraising or paying a fee of $900.


The invoice schedule for the collection of these fees is as follows:

  • A $300 non-refundable deposit invoice will be emailed to you mid May. This deposit is due by June 10th Payment options will be included in the email.

  • The remaining $600 balance will be invoiced mid June and will be due by October 1, 2023. Monthly reminders will be sent until invoices are paid in full.

*Outstanding balances from previous seasons must be paid in full to participate in the current season.


Ireland Update

If you plan to utilize student fundraising funds towards Ireland you MUST request this by emailing treasurer@noblesvilleband.org. I am in communication with Music Travel and can apply fundraised funds at any time towards your Ireland balance. Communication is key.


PLEASE NOTE: Students traveling to Ireland will not be eligible for financial assistance from the boosters for the 2023-2024 school year.

End of Season Celebration & Kick off to 2023!

Come celebrate the end of season 2022 and kickoff to the 2023 season! All incoming freshman, current marching members, graduating seniors, and their families are welcome. Non-marching band members are not permitted at this event. Parents, this is a great way to meet other marching parents before the season kicks into full swing.


When: Friday June 2nd 2023. 7:30pm - 10:30pm

Who: Students and Families of Incoming Freshman - Graduating Seniors

Where: Teter Retreat Lodge & Shelter - 10980 E. 221st Street, Noblesville

What to Bring: Camp chairs and games for inside in case of bad weather (cards, board games, etc...) Outdoor space has beach volleyball, GaGa pit, basketball court and outdoor games!

Current & Incoming Freshman: Drinks -Bottled water, sparkling water, individual juice boxes, gatorade or soda cans.

Sophomores: Fruit or veggies

Juniors: Individually wrapped desserts or chips

Graduating Seniors: A food item of your choice. Cookies, candy, chips or drinks!
